For 30 years people in Lake County have been making the holidays a little warmer for their neighbors in need. Many residents dedicate the giving in memory of relatives, friends and others. A collaborative effort of Lake County Publishing, the Lakeport Rotary Club, Bruno’s Shop Smart, Foods Etc., Scully Packing, Umpqua banks, Westamerica banks, Lake Family Resource Center and NCO Community Action Agency, provides Christmas baskets to people in need during the holidays.
A total of 1,200 baskets will be distributed, 600 to the Northshore and 600 to the Southshore. Baskets are limited to one per physical address.
