The Center for Immigration Studies released a document that reveals 36,007 convicted criminal aliens were freed from ICE custody while awaiting deportation hearings? What is going on here? Among the 36,007, they had nearly 88,000 criminal convictions including:
193 Homicides (including killing a public official with a gun), 426 Sexual Assaults,303 Kidnappings, 1,075 Aggravated Assaults, 1,160 Car Thefts, 9,187 Drug Crimes,
16,070 DUI’s, etc, etc, etc. They list 60 convictions on their web site.
What has happened to the Rule of Law in this Country? Where is the Attorney General on this issue? ABSENT!!! And why? And where is the Attorney General on Sanctuary Cities, which is obviously against federal law? Liberals gone wild is the obvious answer, as in Harry Ried opposing Kate’s Law! Is this what my America has become, where the law is ignored?
Judicial Watch sued DHS under FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) and found out nearly 166,000 convicted illegal aliens were released by DHS as of 4/2014. One study says only 20 percent of these released illegals ever showed up for Court appearances, 872,900 illegal aliens free to roam the Country but did not self deport as ordered by the Courts. They just move to Sanctuary Cities. Not a one of these cities have an (R) behind their officials name. Stupid is as stupid does.
When you pervert the law all you have is no law and you have anarchy. This country is envied by immigrants that come to this country to become citizens, not welfare recipients. Illegal aliens have been taught how to get welfare and other benefits which adds to our national debt, free stuff isn’t free. The national debt scheduled to reach $24 trillion and will destroy this country long before global warming will.
At $24 trillion of debt, it means every man, woman and child in this Country owes $72,727 to retire this debt! Hey anyone, do you have this kind of money and do your children have that kind of money? NOT! When you run out of other people’s money, you are bankrupt!

Religious absurdities
Letters about religious topics are published frequently in the Record-Bee. In view of these and the numerous disasters that have occurred in many countries in recent years, I decided that it would be appropriate for me to add my thoughts on these subjects.
Numerous wildfires have occurred in our western states and the Canadian provinces and elsewhere in the world during the past year that have destroyed thousands of homes and killed hundreds of people. It always amazes me that when survivors of such disasters are interviewed they usually say something like “I am so thankful to God for sparing my life even though I lost my pets and property.”
Along the same lines, I find it to be astonishing that after the frequent incidents of brutality and carnage in countries such as Syria or Iraq, devout Muslims will say “God is Great”.
On more personal note, an acquaintance of my wife and me recently reported that her husband had recovered from a heart attack after treatment at a local hospital. She stated that she would be “eternally indebted to God for saving her husband’s life.”
If God had the power to save the life of that woman’s husband after his heart attack, and the lives of the grateful survivors of the wildfires, why did he/she not prevent the heart attack or the fires in the first place?
Were the deaths of those who were lost in the fires God’s punishment for the sins of all of those victims? Even the children? Likewise, if god is so great (and presumably all powerful), why does he/she allow wars to occur that slaughter so many innocents, including thousands of children?
I could go on at length about this topic, but I will simply finish by stating that it is beyond my means of comprehension to understand how so many intelligent and well-educated people can believe the absurdities that constitute all of the religions in this world of ours.

We are better than this
We are and have been causing huge numbers of deaths and harm to the innocent fathers, mothers and children of other countries by supplying weapons and ammo along with boots on the ground in some cases, which is just about the least humane thing for this or any other nation to do. Using our high tech weapons to do most of the harm during these foolish conflicts is costing our citizens the losses of our own young peoples lives and health, and wasting taxpayer funds that could be used to improve the standards of living for all our and other nation’s citizens, and help and educate others.
The cheerleading media use of fear and slanted views in order to pump up their profits, which is a crime in itself. The greatest side effect to our nation that this brings is to divide our own citizens against one another. One of the biggest jokes of all is when the war drums beat to get involved when two factions of the same non-fact based religion are fighting/murdering each other, as seen so frequently.
These conflicts have come and gone for centuries, and it’s time the world says enough is enough. We’re advanced enough now we can improve the world instead of just looking to advance the causes of the superstitious and the greedy. The same needs to be said about the money being made producing and selling guns, with few if any laws to lesson the slaughter of our own innocent citizens in this Nation.
