Middletown Animal Hospital became a place of action and collaboration during this time; treating and saving hundreds of animals and organizing search and rescue forays as well as serving as a supply depot. It has continued to serve Lake County, becoming a symbol of healing and recovery.
HALTER (www.halterfund.org), Horse and Livestock Team Emergency Response,decided to dedicate their annual calendar to the facility.
Calendar sales will help support Middletown Animal Hospital’s continued efforts to provided affordable care and services to those in need during the next critical months of the new year.
Each page of the Year of Recovery calendar is a daily reminder of the beauty of small towns, and the power of the animal-human connection.
HALTER was established in 2012 to provide rural communities with information and resources for horse and livestock emergencies, large or small: animals in distress, accident on the road or ranch, fire, flood, or earthquake.
