Lakeport >> Eighty members of the Lake County Association of Realtors (LCAOR) had dinner at TNT on the Lake during their annual Installation of 2016 Officers Dinner recently.
The theme chosen by 2016 president Erin Woodward, agent at RE/MAX Lake County, was “Ugly Sweaters.” Attendees agreed by applause that Farmer’s Insurance agent John Ussery, was the clear winner of that sweater challenge.
Outgoing president Yvette Sloan of Morgan Lane Realty, was honored by the realty membership as Realtor of the Year 2015, because of her efforts and accomplishments which improved LCAOR and their statewide standing.
Lori Boatright of Property ID, which is a buyer related information service Realtors frequently utilize, was chosen Affiliate of the Year, and this year she also provided Christmas table decorations for the event.
A specialty award for Outstanding Customer Service was presented to escrow officer Leana Teschner, First American Title, Lakeport branch.
Scott Knickmeyer, association executive and master of ceremonies, kept the dinner meeting lively, and the incoming board of directors were installed, pledging to keep the ethics of the association to high standards and the services to their membership expanded.
LCAOR directors for 2016 are: Mary Benson, Realty 360; Christie Burris, Noble Realty; Elizabeth Davis, Coldwell Banker Realty; Mike Daimata, Shoreline Realty; Victoria Gindele, Morgan Lane; Heidi Johnson, RE/MAX Lake County; Jean King, Realty World; Sloan, Morgan Lane; Woodward, RE/MAX Lake County.
Noteworthy also, the ongoing scholarship committee sponsored a silent auction and raffle at this dinner event, which raised around $5,000 and will be added to the scholarship money distributed to each of the five high schools in Lake County annually.
