Lakeport >> If you want a wonderful way to begin the New Year, visit the Lakeport Main Street Gallery this Friday, Jan. 1 for the First Friday Fling. This month’s artist reception will feature the artwork of Lake County artists’ Leah Adams, Marilyn Crayton, Terry Durnil, Ray Farrow, Conni Lemen-Kosla, Ruth Morgan, Jackie Farley, Linda Kelly, Diana Liebe, Michelle Saad, Shelby Posada, Don Reed, Richard Schmidt, Richard Seisser, and D. Benjamin Van Steenburgh. This month will also have a special exhibit from People Services. All of the artwork will be on display for the whole month of January.
The “Fling” festivities on Friday are from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the public is invited. Come and meet the artists, enjoy Lake County wines available for purchase and be entertained by the musical talent of the county’s own Travis Rinker.
