Model A club names officers

Henrietta and Dick Kistner, founding members, received their Lake County Model A Club Charter Member Plaque during the club’s Christmas luncheon at the Riviera Hills Country Club. In 1993 there were five Lake County families who started the Lake County Model A Club. Currently there are 60 members. It is believed there are more Model As per capita in Lake County than anywhere else in the state. The club held election of 2016 officers at the meeting. These are Ken Barnes (Treasurer), Tom Burns (Director), Tom Macomber (Vice President), Dick Munger (President), Gil Sissons (Director), Eileen Talbott (Secretary) and Dick Kistner (Director). The club will have monthly luncheon/meetings this coming year as well as participating in parades, tours and other activities. One member, Sesson, recently did a fall tour with 35 Model As on a 2,600 mile trek to Yellowstone Park.
