- The Cobb and Middletown Gifting a Tree Project is making an effort to bring greenery back to those rebuilding their homes in the wake of the Valley Fire. Those who wish to contribute can purchase a tree at any participating nursery and ‘plant it forward.’ All trees collected will be distributed by lottery to fire victims who sign up. Nurseries included Star Gardens (Middletown), Kelseyville Lumber (Kelseyville), Nottingham Nursery (Clearlake) and several in nearby counties. Call Kathy Blair 707-972-2084 or Chris Hurley 707-321-9283 for more information. - Contributed Photos
