Clearlake >> Konocti Senior Support Senior Peer Counselor Ed Christwitz hosts walk-in sessions at the Highland Senior Service Center (HSSC) every Thursday beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the West Classroom.
If you would like to talk with someone in confidence about your problems, Christwitz has several years’ experience as a senior listening to other older adults in the community. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, frustrated by illness or sight, hearing or memory loss, in conflict with family, being abused or living in unsafe conditions, or have other concerns, Christwitz is here to help. Seniors experiencing difficulties in any area are welcome to drop in and speak with him, to receive emotional support, companionship or referrals to services. No appointment is necessary and this free and confidential service is open to all persons in Lake County aged 55 and over.
