LAKE COUNTY >> Lake County has two new fishing clubs for youngsters and teenagers.
The Lake County Fishing Club (ages 9-14) and the Lake County High School Fishing Club (freshmen through seniors) are looking for new members from throughout the county.
To join either club call Deanna Goff at 245-4833. You can check out the clubs on Facebook at Lake County Fish Club. There is a $25 fee to join the clubs.
The local club saw its first action on Nov. 22 at the Delta placing 14th and 29th, respectively out of a field of 35 teams.
“Having never fished the Delta waters and being their first tournament, all three anglers did a great job and had a great experience,” Goff said. “Now they have more knowledge of what to expect in the next tournament.”
