The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. on the porch of the Odd Fellow’s Hall on Main Street in downtown Upper Lake.
Come sign in and wait for your name to be called. One food bag per household only. You must be present, and bags will be provided until supply runs out. Additional nonperishable canned foods, grooming and household products will also be available. Donations of garden vegetables and fruit are welcomed.
Clothing for men, women and children will be available to look through and take with you. Only donations of men’s clothing for winter weather are being accepted at this time. Please bring paper or cloth bags.
Hand-out material and applications for the CalFresh debit program for Seniors will be provided. Assistance with filling out the CalFresh application is available at the Upper Lake Senior Support Services Office on the corner of First Street and Mendenhall, Upper Lake on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applications are also available on the computer at the Senior Center.
