Lakeport >> Bill Noteman and the Rockets come to the Soper Reese Theatre at 7 p.m. tonight featuring “Mojo” Larry Platz on guitars; David Neft on keyboards; Dave Falco on base; Steve DuBois on drums; and starring Bill Noteman, vocals and harmonica.
This group has been hitting the stages of Northern California for more than 20 years with its high-energy blend of Chicago blues and West Coast Jump rock ‘n’ roll. The dance floor will be open for its upcoming performance.
“Raw expressive vocals, searing harmonica, sizzling guitar and cooking keys dipped in the sauce of a smoldering rhythm section,” is how one critic describes them.
All seats for “Third Friday Live” cost $15. Tickets can be purchased online at soperreesetheatre.com, at the theater box office, located at 275 S. Main St. in Lakeport, on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tickets are also available at The Travel Center, located at 1265 S. Main St. in Lakeport, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
