KELSEYVILLE >> The 6th Annual American Legion Auxiliary Unit 194 Spaghetti Feed will be held Friday, Jan. 29 at the Kelseyville American Legion Hall at 2nd Street and Gaddy Lane from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This year’s menu includes spaghetti, bread, salad and dessert. Patrons will have a choice of pork sausage or vegetarian sauce. Each year, Unit 194 selects outstanding young women from Kelseyville, Clear Lake and Upper Lake High Schools to attend a week-long leadership program. The “California Girls State Program”, as it is called, is a leadership program of the American Legion Auxiliary designed to increase awareness and knowledge of governmental processes while learning about the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Funding for the program is generated through the annual Spaghetti Feed.

Tickets are available at the door. Adult tickets are $7, children under 12 are $4 and under 4 eat free. They also offer a $20 family special. The event is all-you-can-eat, with dine-in or take-out options available. For information on the California Girls State Program, visit cagirlsstate.org.
