Lower Lake High School’s Garrett Chernoh scored a season-high 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to help the Trojans win their fourth straight North Central League I game on Tuesday night in Lakeport, a 78-73 victory over the Clear Lake Cardinals. Two of Chernoh’s 3-pointers came in the fourth quarter and one of them helped Lower Lake distance itself from Clear Lake after the Cardinals had pulled even at 67-all late in the final period. Lower Lake, 6-1 in league play, hits the road Friday to play Middletown (1-6).
