Lakeport >> Elks Lodge held a fund raiser dinner on Saturday with more than 80 dinners served. The Lake County Military Funeral Honor Guard will receive $750 to support their mission.
The guard has provided military honor services for more than 1,100 veterans in Lake County.
In other news members of Lakeport Lodge have contributed 2,600 pounds of food that was distributed to local food cupboards. They also presented Operation Tango Mike a $500 Elks National Foundation (ENF) grant check and $1,500 ENF grant check to Vet Connect to support the annual Stand Down event.
