LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport Seventh Day Adventist Community Church will have Noelette Leader-Hudson at 11 a.m, today, Jan.30, in the Sanctuary for the worship hour.
Leader-Hudson is a classically trained, gospel and jazz interpreter of song. She also is a well studied speaker who delivers the gospel with passion and seeks to motivate and inspire the broken.
Born in Manhattan, Leader-Hudson studied at Oakwood University, in Huntsville, Alabama, receiving the Homiletics Award in the Department of Religion. She studied performance at the Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts in Boston Massachusetts. Leader-Hudson has a passion for the Word of God and the music with which He has blessed her. It is her purpose as she ministers, to welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit and make real in the hearts of those who hear, the God of creation and the universe, and Jesus Christ the Savior.
Her singing and speaking has afforded her the opportunity to minister on stages, schools, and prisons throughout the US, Bermuda and Barbados.
She recorded an album entitled, “Can’t You See the Light,” with vocal group “Paradise” which was released by Polygram Records. Currently, she has a solo recording “Just To Say Thank You.” Two more albums are soon to be released.
The church is located at the corner of Park and Hill, right off of Highway 29. Come and be blessed.
