Lucerne >> Northshore Community Center, formerly known as Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, is hosting “Share the Love” community event on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 2 to 6 p.m. to celebrate Valentine’s Day and the dedication of two of our past board members, Jerry Morehouse and Dave Templeton. Cake and coffee will be served.
There will be opportunities to make Valentines for your loved ones, decorate cookies, play Valentine carnival games, have sweetheart photos and munch some excellent treats. Nothing costs over $1.
The event is appropriate for all ages. Admission for children under six is free. For those aged 6 years through adult, admission is by donation of one can of nonperishable item of food for the Feed Our Hungry Neighbors Food Pantry. This pantry is stocked entirely by donations.
Proceeds from the activities benefit the Northshore Community Center, a not-for-profit serving north shore families and senior populations with on-site lunches, Meals on Wheels, personal advocacy, activities, and other services.
