Lucerne >> Northshore Community Center, formerly the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, has announced it intends to restart hosting a monthly gathering of North Shore poets and song writers, beginning on Feb. 10. This is going to be a monthly event, on the second Wednesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m.
All Poets and Songwriters from Lake County are welcome. Coffee, tea, and refreshments are provided, but you are free to bring other snacks to share.
This is a free event. All present are given an opportunity to perform. If you want to accompany your writing, feel free to bring your instrument. Poets and songwriters are asked to join this on-going event. All ages over 18 and styles are invited to the gathering.
For information about the North Shore Poetry & Song Writer Gathering, call Northshore Community Center at 274-8779. This not-for-profit serves north shore senior populations with on-site lunches, Meals on Wheels and advocacy. It also has many activities for seniors and families. Calendars of events are available at the center.
