Women in Ministry: What Does the Bible Say?

While many Christian Traditions have been ordaining women to ministry for centuries, others prohibit women from certain ministry tasks such as preaching, deacon etc. Why is this and what does the Bible say?
At United Christian Parish this Sunday (Feb. 7) we will explore what the Bible says about women in ministry, some of the women who served alongside Jesus and Paul and what it means for the church today.
There will be a Hymn Sing at 9:45 a.m. and the worship service begins at 10 a.m. All are welcome — male and female!
