Middletown >> Most of us will experience the life altering experience of losing a loved one; the death of a best friend, a parent, son or daughter. The pain, fear, sadness and all the other emotions and thoughts that are endured over time. These are powerful life changing events that, if not dealt with effectively, can cycle into a landslide of life altering events.

Bereavement counselor Kathleen Bradley with Hospice Services of Lake County will host a presentation and group discussion for those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one. The presentation will be held on Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Middletown Senior Center. This is a free event and open to the public. Participants will be provided information in a supportive environment intended to help them better understand deal with their own grief.

Bradley is a Licensed Psychiatric Technician with more than 25 years of experience working a behavioral health professional. She has served as a counselor with hospice services for five years and is a long standing Lake County resident.
