Clearlake >> Advanced tickets are now on sale for the Park Study Club’s annual dinner, dance, art and wine reception, to be held on Saturday, March 19 from 5 to 10 p.m. The “Step Into Spring” event will take place at the Clearlake Senior Community Center, located at 3245 Bowers Ave. in Clearlake.
This year art exhibits will be presented by High School students and winery representatives will be on hand pouring their wines for tasting. Music will be provided by the LC Diamonds for enjoyment in listening and dancing. Along with the music, Michael Davis, a Broadway & TV star, will entertain the crowd with his comedy and juggling act.
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with wine tasting, with dinner served at 6:30. Dinner will consist of smoked tri-tip, roasted Yukon potatoes with bacon, a southern styled braised green salad and Point Reyes bleu cheese kale salad with Walnuts.
There will be raffle baskets, live auctions, one being a homemade dessert auction, with the food baked by high school students. One of the many raffle items will be a Heron wood carving, done by Mark Colp, a local craftsman, and the winner of which will be drawn at the event.
Advanced tickets cost $35 and $40 at the door, and can be obtained by any PSC member or by calling Sharon at 995-1807. Proceeds benefit the Park Study Club scholarship and youth leadership funds for local high school students.
