Lakeport >> The Lake County Library Literacy Program is having a training for volunteer tutors from noon to 5 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Lakeport Library. Participants will learn useful techniques for teaching adults to read, and practice the techniques with a partner.
Upon completion of the training, tutors will be matched with adult learners in a variety of settings around the county.
