DAVIS >> Don Saylor announced the endorsement of Lake County Supervisor Anthony Farrington in support of his bid for the District 4 State Assembly seat.

“Lake County’s economy was devastated after the recession and the devastating Valley Fire in 2015,” Farrington said in a statement. “We can count on Don to focus on revitalizing the job market and expanding opportunities for small businesses. The people of Lake County need a leader in the Assembly who will stand up for all of us, not just those at the top.”

Since 2011, Saylor has served on the Yolo County Board of Supervisors. Between 2004 and 2010, he was Mayor and Councilmember in the City of Davis. He served as a trustee of the Davis Joint Unified School District between 1995 and 2003. Saylor has also chaired the Sacramento Area Council of Governments and was previously a legislative analyst for the California Legislature.

“Anthony was born and raised in Lake County — his endorsement is indicative of the wide-ranging breadth of support my campaign has achieved,” Saylor said. “In the Assembly, I’ll work with leaders from across the district to advance the best interests of our people.”
