Lake County’s magnificent seven state qualifiers for the CIF State Girls’ Wrestling Championships on Friday and Saturday in Visalia are (from left) Jasmin Clarke of Kelseyville, Kailei Foltmer of Middletown, Christina Wilson of Upper Lake, Emily Psalmonds of Clear Lake, Alixe Olson of Middletown, Isabella Quintana-Ocken of Middletown and Adriana Lopez of Upper Lake. All seven participated in a practice Tuesday afternoon at the Kelseyville High School wrestling room. In the six-year history of girls’ wrestling in California, Lake County has never sent this many to the state tournament, where medals are awarded down to six places in each weight division. Action begins Friday at 9 a.m. at the Visalia Convention Center.
