LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport City Council will consider approving the Environmental Review for Phase II of the Downtown Improvement Plan at its regular meeting today.
According to city documents, the revised review was supported by the planning commission last month but it made some recommendations to use noise insulating blankets to mitigate night construction noise in between the first and fourth street intersection
Community Development Director Kevin Ingram and his staff concurred with the suggestions because there are no two story buildings on those blocks like the ones further north.
The council could adopt those changes and/or make some changes of their own.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at Lakeport City Hall.
