A firefighter douses a blaze that severely damaged a mobile home Wednesday afternoon on Manchester Avenue in Clearlake. About 50 percent of the structure was destroyed by the fire, reported just after 4 p.m. By the time fire personnel arrived, occupants had evacuated the home, Capt. Brice Trask said. About 15 first responders from the Lake County Fire Protection District (LCFPD) and CalFire were at the scene, both with two engines as well as a water tender from LCFPD, Trask said.
