Lakeport City Councilman Martin Scheel today announced that his candidacy for Lake County District 4 Supervisor has received the endorsement of Congressman Mike Thompson.
“I’ve worked closely with Martin Scheel since he’s been in elected office,” said Thompson. “He is dedicated to the people he represents and to the County of Lake.”
Thompson praised Scheel’s presence in the community and work on behalf of families displaced by the Valley Fire.
“Congressman Mike Thompson has done so much for the people of Lake County and I am truly honored to earn his support,” declared Scheel. “We are both dedicated to delivering the resources needed to help our fire-damaged communities recover and thrive.”
