Lower Lake >> Dresses, shoes and accessories for an upcoming prom dress giveaway are now being accepted. Gowns will be free for high school girls in Lake County attending prom.
Donations may be delivered to: The Harbor on Main Youth Resource Center at 16170 Main St., Suite F in Lower Lake; The HUB at 750 Old Lucerne Road in Upper Lake; or call 994-5486 and ask for Anna Devries to arrange a pickup.
The giveaway event will take place March 18 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. and March 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lower Lake High School Fitness Center. There will be a range in all sizes of new and gently used formal gowns.
Other giveaways for the day include: heels, fashion jewelry, unopened makeup and gift certificates. Every girl who attends will be entered into a raffle for a free manicure, pedicure or a hair styled up-do for prom.
Girls without a car can call 994-5486 for assistance in arranging transportation.
