Courtesy photo Derek Tritchler caught this 17-inch-long black crappie on Friday on Clear Lake. Even with storms pounding the area in recent weeks, crappie fishing has broken wide open around the lake and many fishermen are catching a daily limit of 25, which is also the possession limit.
