The Lakeport Women’s Civic Club is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization supported by a dedicated group of volunteers whose purpose is to raise funds for community projects. Its primary premise is to serve in ways that will make the community a better place for all residents. The club’s philanthropic contribution includes money for scholarships, city beautification, senior projects, children’s activities and historical education. Meetings are the first Friday of each month, at the Rivera Country Club in Kelseyville, anyone wanting more information regarding the club call 263-3445.
