When Hanna Scully won the Miss Lake County Outstanding Teen title she also earned an award check to cover the cost of a new dress to wear to the Miss California Pageant. Instead of going dress shopping, however, Scully donated the $450 prize to help homeless dogs at Orphan Dog, formerly Lake County Animal Services. ‘I love dogs,’ Scully said of her gift. ‘Ever since I was little, our family has had dogs.
