Lakeport >> North Coast SCORE will offer a free workshop on “Business Basics,” where participants will gain an overview of the fundamentals of starting a business, including creating a business plan, creating a marketing plan, and understanding financial statements and funding. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lakeport City Hall, at 225 Park St.
Leading the workshop with be Richard Adler.
Adler has a BS in Business Administration from Ohio University and a JD from Cleveland State University, 1968. He joined North Coast SCORE in 2008 and has been a Mentor and Chapter Chair. Adler’s specialties are restaurant operations, franchising, real estate, small business development and construction.
The topics of this meeting will be covered in greater detail in subsequent workshops.
