Money from the store goes back to the Lakeport Senior Activity Senior Center to help fund meals. Crooks, executive director, is seen photographing the display for Reanser, whose mother was a key player in the store’s conception. She said having a store like this was her mother’s dream. Skoog, a senior center board member since 2001, said the center has gone from ‘almost shutting its doors to prospering’ thanks in part to the funds brought in from the store, located at 120 N. Main St. in Lakeport. It is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
