Lake County >> A low-income family seeking the opportunity to own their own home, a low-income family who lost their home in the Lake County fires or a renter displaced by the fires who is now in need of a home may find assistance with Habitat for Humanity Lake County.

The nonprofit’s Homeownership Program is actively seeking qualified candidates. Applicants will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Military veterans are encouraged to apply and family need is always the top consideration.

For a pre-qualification application visit Habitat for Humanity’s website at www.lakehabitat.org, call (707) 994-1100 or stop by its office at 16285A Main St. in Lower Lake.

Once the pre-application is received, candidates will be contacted by a Habitat for Humanity representative for a family interview and provided with a complete application.
