Lake County >> The E Center Women, Infants and Children program (WIC) is a nationwide, federally sponsored nutrition program that provides education, support and help with breastfeeding, community and health care referrals. It also checks for supplemental food to eligible pregnant women, new moms, postpartum women, infants and children younger than the age of 5.

Bilingual staff and lunch hour appointments are available. Some Friday appointments in Lakeport and Clearlake are also available. Call ahead for an appointment.
The April clinic schedule is as follows:
Lakeport
Location: WIC office, 831 Bevins St.
Dates: Monday April 18; Tuesdays April 5, 12, 19, and 26; Wednesday April 6, afternoon only; and Friday April 22.
Schedule: is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Clearlake
Location: 14085-4 Lakeshore Drive, across from Main Street Café.
Dates: Mondays April 11 and 25; Wednesday April 20; Thursdays April 7, 14, 21, and 28; and Friday April 15.
Schedule: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Middletown
Location: First Baptist Church, 15576 Graham Road.
Date: Friday April 1
Schedule: 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Lucerne
