The food truck pictured has been stolen from the Lakeport Senior Activity Center. It was a fundraising vehicle purchased from the Elks Lodge in 2011 and has been used at different events to raise money for the center’s Meals on Wheels program, executive director Jonathan Crooks said. Program volunteers deliver food packages to nearly 170 homebound seniors in Lakeport and Kelseyville. The truck was parked in the parking lot at the Lakeport senior center, someone cut the lock hooked it up and drove off with it, Crooks said. ‘We are hoping someone sees it and reports it to the police for us.’ Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Lakeport Police Department at (707) 263-5491. – Contributed photo
