The Lake County Milers was two of several members who volunteered. ‘It was a much harder job than anticipated,’ said Pat Prettie, who also helped with the effort. ‘The bridge is longer than it looks when we are just walking or jogging across it. We also noticed the ends of the bridge need stairs to help us seniors get up and down on the walkway.’
