Sober grad committee to host variety show, auction
The Clear Lake High School Sober Grad 2016 Committee will hold a variety show and auction on April 22.
The event will take place in the MAC auditorium on the CLHS campus, located at 350 Lange St. in Lakeport. Adults cost $10 and students and children younger than 12 cost $7.
A pulled pork dinner prepared by Larry Richardson will also be available for an additional $10 between 6 and 7 p.m., when the variety show is scheduled to start.
Latino club to raise funds for scholarships, activities
The Clear Lake High School Latino Club’s annual taco feed will take place at the Terrace Middle School cafeteria, located at 250 Lange St. in Lakeport, from 5 to 7 p.m. on May 4.
For the cost of $7, attendees will get two tacos, beans, rice and a drink. There will also be dessert items for sale.
After the meal, guests are encouraged to stay for the Clear Lake High School spring concert next door at the MAC activity center.
Funds from the taco feed are used for club activities and provide scholarships for CLHS Latino Club members.
