Kelseyville >> Auditions for an original melodrama comedy written and directed by Carolyn Burke will be held at the IdleWheels RV Park recreation hall on April 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. and April 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. There are openings for nine women ages 20 to 60 and four men of the same age range.
Burke has been involved with theater in Lake County for many years. She has recently returned to the area with the desire to use her experience to benefit the community and share her talents.
The melodrama is called “It’s About Time” and will be used as a fundraiser for the Lakeport Senior Activity Center’s Meals on Wheels and nutrition programs.
Performances will be Friday July 22 with a prime rib, fine dining experience and show with a matinee show the following Saturday.
