LAKEPORT >> The Lakeport Economic Development Advisory Council, or LEDAC, will further discuss and develop its strategic plan at its monthly meeting today.

The goal for the working session is to continue reviewing current and passed documents that will give the group ideas on the best strategies for the plan. According to the agenda, the committee will review documents like the Five-year implementation plan from the city’s former Redevelopment Agency, Phase II of the Downtown Improvement Plan and the 2011-2013 Lake County Economic Development & Marketing Strategic Plan.

A similar action was taken at the last meeting, when Lakeport’s Community Development Director Kevin Ingram led LEDAC through a 2003 Business Recruitment and Retention Strategy for the city.

The public is invited to attend and give input. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
