Upper Lake >> The Upper Lake Community Food Project will take place Tuesday at 4 p.m. on the porch of the Odd Fellow’s Hall on Main Street.
Sign in and wait for name to be called. One food bag per household only, recipients must be present and bags will be provided until supply runs out.
Additional nonperishable canned foods,grooming and household products will also be available. Donations of garden vegetables and fruit are welcomed.
Clothing for men,women and children will be available to look through and take. Donations of men’s clothing only are accepted at this time. Bring paper or cloth bags.
Volunteers will provide hand-out material and provide applications for the CalFresh debit program for seniors. They are able to help people fill out the CalFresh application at the Upper Lake Senior Support Services office on the corner of First Street and Mendenhall,Upper Lake on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applications are available on the computer of which there are available at the senior center.
