Kelseyville>> Kelseyville Olive Festival will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chacewater Winery & Olive Mill.
A benefit for Lake Family Resource Center (Lake FRC), the free, family-friendly event includes olive mill tours, tasting, festival vendors, activities for kids and food vendors. Wine and beer tasting is available for $20. A wine store is on-site for the day along with a silent auction to bring home some newly discovered treasures.
Funds raised support Lake FRC in its efforts to strengthen families in the communities. Lake FRC provides vital services to children and families including parenting education, child abuse prevention and treatment, the domestic violence shelter and rape crisis center, Early Head Start, both in-home and center-based, nutritional education and counseling.
Partners in the Kelseyville Olive Festival are Chacewater Winery and Olive Mill and Rosa d’Oro Vineyards. Sponsors also include Lake County Tribal Health, Laujor Estate Winery, Lake County Winegrape Commission, G&G Printing, Stacy Marie Essentials and Twin Pine Casino.
