Clearlake >> The City Council is seeking applications from Clearlake citizens for a vacant seat with a term expiring in November. Denise Loustalot gave up the council position on March 25, and according to state law, the position must be filled within 60 days.
Individuals interested in applying for the position of Clearlake City Council member are encouraged to pick up an application at the Clearlake City Clerk’s office at 14050 Olympic Drive. Applications are also available on the city’s website at www.clearlake.ca.us, but original applications must be filed in person with the city clerk.
In order to be considered for this position, applications must be filed no later than 5 p.m. on May 4.
The Clearlake City Council will consider all applicants and make the appointment at the May 12 regular city council meeting.
