LAKEPORT >> The Lake County Planning Commission will consider a mitigated negative declaration for a proposed Dollar General Store in Middletown at its regular meeting on Thursday.
According to county documents, the issue will take up two items on the packed agenda — one for a major use permit and the other is to developer Cross Development (on behalf of Dollar General) to divide the proposed, 3.7 acre site at 20900 State Highway 29 into two parcels.
Two stores have been built in Nice and in Clearlake Oaks. The store will be approximately 9,100 square feet.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse.
