Clearlake >> The Medicare Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) is holding a free presentation titled “Understanding Your Medicare” on Monday at 10:30 a.m. for people wanting a comprehensive understanding of their Medicare health benefits. It will be held at the Highlands Senior Service Center, located at 3245 Bowers Ave. in Clearlake.
“There is so much to understand, especially as we get older and use our Medicare more,” Nicole Hatley, Senior Advocacy Services board president, said.
HICAP has partnered with the Clearlake senior center for this in-depth seminar which will cover Medicare parts A, B, D, advantage plans, supplemental plans, deadlines and more. HICAP offers free and unbiased counseling and information on Medicare issues and does not sell, recommend, or endorse any insurance product, agent, insurance company, nor health plan. This HICAP presentation is a service of Senior Advocacy Services in partnership with and support by the Area Agency on Aging and the California Department of Aging.
