Lakeport >> Spring into Health, the annual fair at Nature’s Food Center, takes place on May 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Locally sourced, healthy food and vitamin vendors will hand out samples and share information about their products.
Lake County businesses include Nutribiotic, Blue Lakes Walnut and Honey Companies and Yerba Santa Dairy. There will be a kombucha tasting bar, plus supplement representatives of Life Extension and Irwin Naturals. Other activities include Sonic Life demonstrations, and a cooking demo and tasting of tahini sour crème.
The store features fine organic produce weekly, and seasonal samplings will be part of the event.
There will also be a raffle of healthy products provided by participating vendors.
