SANTA ROSA >> The international Parenting Media Association (PMA) presented Mendo Lake Family Life magazine with two awards for excellence at its Editorial & Design Awards Competition banquet, held this year in Indianapolis on April 16.
The magazine also received two PMA awards a year ago.
This year the Mendo Lake Family Life team was extremely proud that the happy faces, bright eyes, and vibrant colors of the cover of our November 2015 “Twin Talk” issue received a Gold Award for Best Use of a Stock Photo on the Front Cover. They also took home a Bronze Award for a well-researched Family Fun column on local campgrounds that judges thought was good enough to “file away for future use.”
The PMA awards “recognize the best work done in our industry,” said PMA President Mary Cox. “Our collective goal is to making parenting easier — after all, it’s the most important job in the world — and even more of a fun ride.”
