Listeners of KPFZ, 88.1 FM, radio show will have the opportunity to learn about the status of the fish in Clear Lake during the weekly Pub talk radio show at 8 p.m. on Monday. Guests will be Department of Fish and Wildlife fishery biologist Ben Ewing and Record-Bee outdoor writer Terry Knight.
Ewing is an expert on Clear Lake and will discuss the recent explosion of the crappie population and other fish, such as the bass and catfish. Native fish such as the status of the Hitch will also be discussed.
Knight has written a number of articles for newspapers and magazines about Clear Lake’s fisheries.
