LAKE COUNTY >> A Paratransit Services executive announced at the Lake Transit Authority meeting on Wednesday that Wanda Gray will no longer be the head of the company’s Lake County operation.
CEO David Baker said that road supervisor and trainer Bill McIntyre will take her place by the end of June. Meanwhile, Gray will be finally be able to perform her duties as a regional manager and will move to Willows to help the company’s client there.
“We are very fortunate to have a very good second in command at this site,” Baker said of McIntyre. “I believe the leadership change will continue to move our mission forward. “
But the recent CalACT Manager of the Year recipient said she won’t be completely removed from Lake County. In fact, she will still attend meetings and have an active role in the LTA’s functions.
“I’ll still be around,” Gray said. “A big piece of my time will be to support Lake County.”
As for her thoughts on McIntyre, she’s supportive of the move, especially because it is an inside hire.
“I think it’s great,” she added. “He is well deserving.”
Gray has been serving LTA since 2008.
