Upper Lake >> Sa-Sam Gallery will present its summer exhibit titled “Celebrating the Goddess” on May 22.
For this show the gallery has gathered together a diverse collection of work from 12 Lake County artists. The show’s theme of Celebrating the Goddess is presented as a way of exploring the divine feminine, which is another way of understanding the creative mystery of life.
The artwork in the show ranges from personal statements to those of a more cosmic viewpoint. The artists whose work is in the show are; Max Butler, Eileen Dreizin, Sherrie Harris, Carolyn Hawley, Mark Henson, Robert Herreshoff, Linda Kelly, Pinky Mitchell, Michelle Monreal, Susan Spear Yeagan, Xian Yeagan and Rojax.
Celebrating the Goddess will have an opening celebration on May 22 from 1 until 5 p.m. The public is invited to meet and talk with the artists. The show will run until Aug. 21. Sa-Sam Gallery is located at 9495 Main St. in Upper Lake. For more information contact Max Butler at 275-9435.
