Who do we want?
Yah know folks, before you cast your vote for supervisor, do a quick check for outstanding liens. You will be amazed.
Question is “do we want another in office who has present or past problems with the IRS and/or FTB not to mention court orders.”

The big story
It was three years ago Wednesday that the Associated Press story was published about Lakeside Heights and its disaster. Here is a link to the
USA Today version of that article, with photos:

Altogether, this story got attention worldwide from hundreds of media outlets, from the London Telegraph to the Kuwait Times.
ABC’s Good Morning America had crews in the neighborhood three days in a row.
Happy anniversary!

Where’s the praise?
I was pleased to see yet another letter by Mac McKay in The Record-Bee on 5/11/16 covering the ineptitude, immorality and possibly criminal actions of Bill and Hillary Clinton, and the incompetence of our current president. However, I am puzzled by the fact that he does not take the Republicans to task for not exerting more effort to bring these derelicts to justice.
The Republicans in Congress have held only a few dozen hearings on Hillary’s bumbling of events in Libya, and the killing of our diplomats in Benghazi there, and they have not yet penalized her. And surely, after they impeached Bill Clinton they could have done a better job in their attempt to convict Bill Clinton for his shenanigans. I guess that the GOP just don’t have the energy to bring these Democratic criminals to justice because they are spending enormous effort to promote so many social welfare programs, such as caring for the thousands of homeless and malnourished children in our country.
And I have another complaint about Mac’s letters. I do not recall him writing to enthusiastically extoll George W. Bush and his administration for the triumphant success of the invasion of Iraq. That war resulted in the destruction of many thousands of weapons of mass destruction that Saddam had hidden so cleverly in ladies toilet facilities there.
The loss of tens of thousands of lives in Iraq was a small price to pay for that accomplishment. And let us not overlook the fact that the war in Iraq brought about lasting peace, stability and prosperity to all of the people in many of the Middle Eastern countries.
And so Mac, I can hardly wait to read your enthusiastic praising of the accomplishments of the Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice administration.

Mac and fact
I would like to thank Marilyn McKay for that bit of humor (RB 4-27), but you let Mac get ahead of the facts in his letter (RB 5-11). Let’s start with ‘she is a liar like her convicted husband.’ Bill Clinton has not been convicted. He was impeached and the Senate did not convict. What is this conviction Mac is talking about? And is the ‘latest tell all book’ the one by Ronald Kessler published over two years ago? I picked this one up from … that’s right, you don’t want sources. “
As Time magazine noted as far back as 1993, cranking out spurious stories that discredited Hillary Clinton and were attributed to anonymous Secret Service agents was a known political trick: And whom does Kessler’s book rely on? An anonymous Secret Service agent. Then he goes again with the conviction bit, “Name me one President who was convicted of lying to a Grand Jury …”
It wasn’t Bill Clinton as I stated above. How can he not be aware of this fact?
But I think Mac needs to reread my letter where I stated that ISIS has lost 50 percent of its territory and 80 percent of its revenue stream. One last thing. I would like to know how long we would have needed to stay in Iraq to assure victory. George W said they had a fully trained army when he left office.
How long Mac?
